ENRICHMENT MODULES IN INFORMATION-COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY
The
Information Communication Institute of Singapore (ICIS) offers a series of
enrichment modules to facilitate the upgrading and development of the workforce
in the Infocom industry. which is conducted by ICIS. These enrichment modules
are comprised of selective modules offered under the one year part-time Graduate
Diploma Programme in Information-Communication Technology (G.Dip.ICT)
These modules are open to all who wish to improve their knowledge and upgrade
their skills in the area of Infocom Technology. Each module is comprised of 13
lectures which are held once per week from 6.30pm-9.30pm at NTU. There are no
pre-requisites although basic knowledge in the modules of interest would be
advantageous. All enrichment modules are non-examinable. A Certificate of
Attendance will be awarded upon satisfactory attendance of at least 70% of the
module(s).

A non-refundable course fee of S$963.00 (inclusive of GST) must accompany each
module application. Payment should be by cheque/bank draft made out to
'Nanyang Technological University'. Please write your name, address
and module code/codes on the reverse side of the cheque/bank draft. Please do

Introduction to electronic commerce. World Wide Web technology. Data

students will be introduced the protocols based on which web pages are
transferred and viewed over the Internet. They will also be introduced the
languages which are used to describe the contents of the web pages, and
the tools which are used to design web pages. They will also be involved
in designing web pages and Internet portals.
