Programme Highlights…
The graduate diploma programme in
Information-Communication Technology (G Dip ICT) is designed to equip graduate
professionals with the essential foundations in data communications and software
engineering, technical knowledge in multimedia communications and Internet
business technology, and practical skills in software programming and web
applications design. These knowledge and skill sets are taught and imparted to
graduates in the programme through six specially designed courses.

A New Career in the Infocomm Industry ….
For those who are interested to make a career switch to the
Infocomm industry, this is a unique opportunity not to be missed. G.Dip.ICT is a
part-time conversion programme that provides a platform for non-ICT
professionals to equip themselves with the essential technical skills and
knowledge in ICT. The next intake of this programme will commence in Jan 2010.
The Need to Train & Retrain ….
Singapore is currently grappling with the problem of structural
unemployment, where jobs are available but there are insufficient skilled people
to take on these jobs. In particular, there is a lack of trained professionals
for the ICT industry. Furthermore, to cope with the rapid pace of change in the
Infocomm industry, it is important for ICT professionals to train and re-train
to stay relevant and to equip themselves with up-to-date technical competencies
in order to succeed in the competitive global Internet economy.
